Spare Ribs

1 cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup vinager
Pork country style ribs

1 rib for a man, 1/2 for a woman

mix all ingredients together and pour over ribs. Cook for 1 hour at 325 degrees or 2 hours at 250 degrees. Do not cover.

Grilled Chicken

1 cup water
1 cup vinegar
1 cube butter
2 TBSP salt

Mix ingredients together. Grill on grill or in the broiler. Keep smothering in sauce until cooked through.

Veggie Dip

1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayo
2 tsp dill weed
2 tsp bon appetite seasoning
1 tsp minced onion

mix everything together well and refridgerate for 2 hours before serving.

Chicken Roll Ups

2 packages cresent rolls
Dash of pepper
1 package cream cheese
1/4 cup soft butter
2-3 green onions
2 cups cubed chicken cooked
bread crumbs
1 can cream of chicken soup

Mix cream cheese and butter until soft. Add chicken, pepper, and green onions in a bowl. Add to flattened cresent rolls and fold them up. Dip into butter and roll into the bread crumbs. Bake in over for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

For sauce add cream of chicken and some milk, water and spice to taste.

Chicken Corn Chowder

3 quarts water
8 bullion cubes
2 cups of each: califlower, broccoli, carrots, celery, corn, and frozen peas
1 TBSP minced onion
3 cups chicken cooked and cut
1 lb velvetta cheese

2 cubes butter
1 cup flour

In a big pot add all veggies, water, bullion cubes and minced onions. Let simmer. Cook chicken breasts with 2 stalks of celery and salt and pepper.

In a seperate pan melt butter and then add flour. Stir until smooth. Add it to the veggie pot. Then cut chicken up and add that to the veggie pot as well. Add velvetta and stir until melted. Stir often so that you don't scortch the soup.

Chicken Haystacks

2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth or water
2 cups cubed chicken cooked
Rice
Chow mein noodles
Cheese
Pineapple tidbits

Combine soup and chicken broth in sauce pan. Add chicken and simmer 8-10 mins. Serve with rice and toppings.

German Pancakes

1/3 cup butter
4 large eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt

melt butter in 9x13 pan at 400 degrees. Mix remaining ingredients in bowl. Add to pan and bake 25-30 mins.

Scalloped Potatoes

1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper
1/4 LB velvetta cheese (1 small package)
2 TBSP sugar
1 potato for each person

Slice potatoes into thin slices. Put potatoes in pan and put enough water in it to cover the potatoes. When potatoes are almost done cooking add the rest of the ingredients. Put lid on and keep heat on low. Stir occasionally. When done cooking, let sit with lid off.

Cheese Potatoes

2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup cheese
1 16 oz sour cream
1 tsp salt
1 TBSP minced onion
1/2 cup butter
32 oz frozen hashbrowns

Mix everything but hashbrowns together in a large bowl. Once mixed, add hashbrowns.

Bake for 35-45 mins at 350 degrees.

Doug R's famous Brownies

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 cubes butter melted
4 eggs
1 TBSP cocoa

Mix everthing together. Do not mix to much or it will have a cake like texture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 mins.

Jello Pretzel Salad

2 cups crushed pretzels
3 TBSP sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
1 package cream cheese
2 cups cool whip
2 (3oz) packages raspberry jello
2 (10oz) packages frozen raspberries
1 cup sugar

Mix pretzels, melted butter and 3 TBSP sugar together and put in bottom of a 9x13 pan. Bake 8 mins at 400 degress. Let cool.

Mix cream cheese and sugar together. Fold in cool whip. Spread over cooled pretzels.

Mix jello and 2 cups boiling wather. Add frozen raspberries and stir until disolved. Let sit in fridge for 10 mins. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Keep in fridge until ready to serve.

Brad's Sugar Cookies

1 1/2 cups powder sugar
1 cup butter softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tarter

1 cup powder sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1-2 tsp milk

Mix powder sugar, butter, egg, vanilla, and almond extract in one bowl. In another bowl mix flour, baking soda, and cream of tarter. Combine both mixtures and let sit in fridge for 2 hours with moistened cloth on top of bowl.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Divide dough into 2 balls. roll and cut out shapes. Bake 8-10 mins. ??

Snickerdoodles

1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup shortening
2 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp soda
2 tsp cream of tarter
1/4 tsp salt

Cream together sugar, eggs, and shortening. Add remaining ingredients and roll into balls. Roll balls into 2 TBSP sugar/2 TBSP cinnamon. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

No Bake Cookies

1 3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 margarine or butter
4 TBSP cocoa
Pinch of salt
3 cups quick oats
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter (optional)

In a saucepan bring the sugar, milk, butter, cocoa, and salt to a rolling boil until sugar is disolved. Add vanilla and stir. Add mixture to oats. Drop heaping spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet and let cool.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

2/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup butter softened
1 cup brown sugar packed
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix butter, shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop on cookie sheet and bake 8-10 mins.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups flour
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 tsp soda
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 cups quick oats
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup brown sugar

Combine all ingredients except oats and chocolate chips. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Crepes

2 eggs
1/2 cup water
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk

mix wet ingredients first. Then add in flour and salt. Cook on skillet & add favorite toppings!

Wheat Crepes

2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup wheat flour
1 TBSP oil
2 TBSP sugar
1/4 tsp salt

Add ingredients together. Pour over skillet and cook.

White Sauce Chicken Enchiladas

1 garlic clove
1 jalepeno pepper chopped
4 chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese
2 TBSP olive oil
1/2 cup water
1 can diced green chilis drained
2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
1 cup heavy whipping cream
flour tortillas

Boil chicken. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Heat olive oil in skillet over med heat. Add chilis, garlic, and jalepeno. Cook and stir until fragrant. Then add cream cheese and 1/2 of the monterey jack cheese. Chop the chicken and stir into skillet until mixed.

Spoon mixture into tortillas. Sprinkle with remaining cheeese then top with heavy whipping cream. Bake for 30 mins or until goldon brown.

Grandma Elders Pork Chops

4-5 Boneless pork chops
1 can cream of chicken soup
3 TBSP Worchester sauce
1/2 can water
1/4cup ketchup

Season meat and brown in skillet. In a bowl add soup, worchester sauce, water, and ketchup. Mix until smooth. Pour over pork chops and simmer for 30-60 mins.

Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1egg slightly beaten
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 cup shredded mozarella cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Dip chicken in egg, then bread crumbs. Put in 9x13 pan. Bake uncovered for 20 mins. Pour spaghetti sauce and cheese over chicken. Bake for another 10 mins.

Cafe Rio Salad

1 buttermilk ranch dressing packet
2 Tomatillos
1/2 bunch cilantro
1 clove garlic
1 lime

Pre-cooked chicken strips
tabassco sause
2 cans tomato sauce
2 cans mexican style tomatoes
2 cans water

Rice
Beans

Make buttermilk packet according to directions on back. (you will need the ingredients on the back of the packet as well). Put in a blender with tomatillos, cilantro, garlic, and lime. Blend together.

Put chicken, tomato sauce, tomatoes, and water in a pot. Add tobassco sauce to taste and simmer til warm. Serve on tortillas with rice and beans.

Au Gratin Potatoes

4 russet potatoes, sliced into 1/4 inch slices
1 onion chopped
salt and pepper to taste
3 TBSP butter
3 TBSP flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
jalepeno chopped (optional)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter a 9x13 pan.

Layer 1/2 of the potatoes into bottom of pan. Top with the onion and add the remaining potatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Mix in the flour and salt and stir constantly with a whisk for 1 minute. Stir in milk. Cook until mixture has thickened. Stir cheese all at once, and continue stirring until melted (about 30-60 seconds). Pour cheese over the potatoes, and cover with foil.

Bake 1 1/2 hours in oven.

Carmel Oatmeal Chewies

1 3/4 cups quick or old fashioned oats
1 3/4 cups flour, divided
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups semi sweet chocoate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup carmel ice cream topping

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 9x13 baking pan.
Combine oats, 1 1/2 cups flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in butter. Mix well. Reserve 1 cup oat mixture. press remaining mixture to bottom of pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Mix carmel topping with remaining flour in small bowl. Drizzle over chocolate chips within 1/4 inch of pan edges. Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture.
Bake 18-22 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. Refridgerate until firm.

French Toast

Great harvest cinnamon burst bread
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 TBSP sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups milk
1 cup flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder

Cinnamon Topping
4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar

Mix eggs, salt, sugar, vanilla and milk until blended well. Slowly add flour and baking powder until smooth. Dip bread in batter. Cook on skillet. While the toast is still warm roll it in the cinnamon topping.

Meat Loaf

1 1/4 Lb ground Beef
1 Cup Soda Crackers
2 Eggs
Minced Onion to taste
Salt & Pepper
1/4 cup milk

Stir all ingredients together and put in a 9x9 pan. Make sure to make it squatty when putting it in the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 mins.

Crock Pot Chicken

4 Chicken Breasts, frozen
1 package McCormick Grillmates Marinade

Mix marinade according to package and put in the bottom of the crock pot. Place frozen chicken on top. Spoon some marinade over top of chicken. Cook on Low for 4-5 hours. Flip chicken over half way through cooking.

Sour Cream Potatoes

8-10 Shredded Potatoes Cooked
1 can cream of chicken soup
1-2 cups sour cream
2 cups cheese
green onions
1/2 cube butter

Put potatoes in 9x13 pan and pour melted butter over. Mix everything else and spread over potatoes. Bake for 30 mins at 350 degrees.

Puerto Rican Rice & Beans

2 Cups Rice to 3 Cups Water
+ 1 TBSP Olive Oil
+ 1 tsp Salt
1 Can Kidney Beans with Juice
Sassoon Powder
1/4 Cup Solfrito
1/2 Can Tomato Sauce(2 oz)
Lettuce
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper

Cook Rice.
Simmer beans, powder, solfrito, and tomato sauce for about 20 mins.
Tear up Lettuce and cover with 1 capful Olive Oil. Add Salt and Pepper to tatse.
Pork Chops go really well with this meal.

Cream Cheese Oreo Balls

1 package ANY flavor Oreos
8 oz Cream Cheese
Dipping Chocolate

Mix oreos and cream cheese with a hand mixer. Roll into balls. Dip in dipping chocolate and place on a sheet of wax paper.

White Chocolate Popcorn

2 Bags Popcorn 97% Butter Free
1/2 Bag White Chocolate Chips

Melt chocolate chips and pour over popcorn.

April's Marinated Chicken

2 Cups Soy Sauce
Aloha Shyou
1 cup sugar
1 TBSP Seasame Seed Oil
1 tsp Ground Ginger
1 tsp Garlic Powder
Green Onions
Seasame Seeds
1 Can Pepsi, Coke, or Sprite

Put everthing in a ziplock bag, add chicken and let sit overnight!!! Grill for best results.
